About Vorb VPN

Vorb VPN creates an encrypted tunnel between your phone and a VPN server, so websites and apps see the server's IP address instead of yours, and people on the same Wi-Fi can't read your data. Tap START and Optimal Location connects you to a fast server: no email, no password, no account.

Questions and answers

Is Vorb VPN really free?

Yes. Connect as often as you like at no cost. Ads pay for the app, and they never show while you're connected.

Why does a connection end after 1 hour?

Each free connection lasts 1 hour. When the time is up you get a notification: open the app and tap START again, as often as you like. Need longer? Watch a short ad before connecting and get 2 hours. Extra time you don't use is saved for your next connection.

Who runs the VPN servers?

Vorb VPN uses public VPN servers from VPN Gate, an academic experiment of the University of Tsukuba in Japan that is run by volunteers around the world. Vorb VPN checks the servers all the time and only shows the ones that work.

Why is a server slow or not connecting?

The servers are run by volunteers, so their speed varies. Pick another country, or turn on "Switch server automatically".

Is Vorb VPN safe?

Your connection to the VPN server is encrypted. Because the servers are run by volunteers, use App Bypass so banking and other sensitive apps keep your normal connection, and prefer websites that use HTTPS.

Do I need an account?

No. Vorb VPN never asks for your name, email or a password.
